St. Vincent de Paul Juneau – We provide material and spiritual charity and work for social justice for all people.

Community Navigators

St. Vincent de Paul is home to five Community Navigators funded by the Juneau Community Foundation.  With the Community Navigator program entering its third year at SVdP, the program has had great success by applying help wherever the need arose.  And there is always need.  The SVdP Community Navigators tend to serve those who are the most hopeless, and have toughest time finding permanent housing, and other services.  Because of this, they have become the best at what they do.  SVdP has a multifaceted team of talented individuals to tackle (and tag-team) the problem and clients.  With the commissioning of the Dan Austin Transitional Support Services Center (TSSC) in the space vacated by the SVdP thrift store, the team has a base of operations with second-hand item depot and food pantry for their clients, as they strike out into the community.
