Every Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks, and an opportunity to share with others. St. Vincent de Paul will be continuing its Thanksgiving Food Basket distribution this year. Individuals in need can sign up online, call 907-789-5535 between 9am and 4pm Monday through Friday, or stop by St. Vincent de Paul offices.
We will be collecting food from October 21 through November 20. Boxes are available at churches participating through Love INC. We will accept donations at our offices as well. Any perishable items need to be brought to 8617 Teal Street and put in the refrigerators and freezers set up for the event.
Non perishable items:
Boxed Stuffing Mix
Instant Mashed Potatoes
Canned Yams or Fresh Yams
Turkey Gravy Mix
Canned Jellied Cranberry Sauce
Canned or Boxed Chicken Broth
Non-perishable items can be donated at church boxes, the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, and the St. Vincent de Paul Office: 8617 Teal Street
Perishable items:
Turkeys
Pies
Butter, etc.

Baskets will be assembled November 19 through 21. Volunteers are needed to deliver baskets to households on November 23. We will organize distribution of food baskets by region, and volunteers will drop off baskets between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 23.
