Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks, and an opportunity to share with others. St. Vincent de Paul will be continuing its Thanksgiving Food Basket distribution this year.
Individuals in need can sign up online, call 907-789-5535 between 9am and 4pm Monday through Friday, or stop by St. Vincent de Paul offices.
We will be collecting food from October 21 through November 20. Boxes are available at churches participating through Love INC. We will accept donations at our offices as well. Any perishable items need to be brought to 8617 Teal Street and put in the refrigerators and freezers set up for the event.

Boxed Stuffing Mix
Instant Mashed Potatoes
Canned Yams or Fresh Yams
Canned Corn
Canned Green Beans
Turkey Gravy Mix
Canned Jellied Cranberry Sauce
Canned or Boxed Chicken Broth

Baskets will be assembled November 17 through 19. Volunteers are needed to deliver baskets to households on November 21. Volunteers can sign up with this link. We will organize distribution of food baskets by region, and volunteers will drop off baskets betw0een 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 21.
